SAMBA 2010
OFFSEASON AND 2011:
In light of the current
economic climate and exorbitant costs involved in practicing and
playing in the stadiums of Salinas, the Samba has elected not to
participate in the 2010 National Premier Soccer League season in
order to properly prepare for 2011. We will continue to maintain
our team and participate in off-field activities in local
schools, and to play exhibition games both away and in Monterey
County.
We deeply thank all the coaches;
players; sponsors and fans who have supported us during the past
7 years, and very much look forward to seeing you on the pitch
for our 2011 season.
OUR MISSION
IN THE SALINAS VALLEY
To act as a beacon of
hope and opportunity for the thousands of players in the
Tri-County region who aspire to play this game at the highest
level.
To use the world's game to provide affordable and high quality
outdoor family entertainment to the people of our community.
To promote the game at all levels and, whenever possible, to use
Samba FC players as prime examples of healthy role models for
our children.
